Charlotte cooke
Charlotte Cooke is a 15 year old event rider from Essex. Charlotte began her career at a very young age on her 10hh pony who is still with Charlotte now!
She then moved on to pursue show jumping whilst she was still too young to event with eventing always being the dream. Charlotte then produced two ponies one being a pony she was riding for an owner Iceford Jigsaw and the other being her own Liscannor Tulira. After completing her first season of BE with both of her self produced ponies with the only aim being to have fun, Liscannor Tulira (Theo) began to show huge talent which made him capable of pony trialing.
When Charlotte was 13 she did her first pony trial along with Theo and they had an educational season stepping up and down from this level. She then decided her dream was to be on the pony team, she was lucky enough to be bought an experienced pony to help her learn a bit faster! Midnight dance II (Casper) was a match made in heaven and within a short amount of time they were stepping up to pony trial. With the cancellation of the Pony Europeans 2021, Charlotte was selected to compete at Blair Castle. Here Midnight dancer II and Charlotte lead the 1* from start to finish with Liscannor Tulira showing further talents following in 6th. Charlotte then continued to finish her year winning 3 pony trials back to back. After a serious winter of in depth training, Charlotte came out with Liscannor Tulira and Midnight Dancer II stronger than ever.
The season so far has been an incredible one with Charlotte finishing in podium positions every trial she has contested in including Liscannor Tulira winning the CCIP2* at Cirencester Park in May. She then went on to compete at Belsay international with Liscannor tulira coming 3rd in the British Pony Championships 2022. Charlotte was then later informed that both her rides of Liscannor Tulira and Midnight Dancer II have been longlisted to represent Great Britain at the European Championships for Ponies.
We are very proud to be associated with Charlotte and her string of ponies and wish her the very best of luck for 2022! Charlotte is fully equipped with a 3.5T ALX-21 S to be attending training and competing up and down the UK.
